About me

I’ve been shaping musical ideas for as long as I can remember.

From the early days of fumbling on the piano as a child, to composing orchestral pieces on sheet music but also using modern DAWs to fulfil that creative fire. It all comes from a deep well of emotion, a small inner universe I feel compelled to share with the world.

I see myself more as a craftsman, looking back for inspiration in tradition, precision, and simplicity. pursuing an unattainable perfection through patience, discipline, and humility.

As my curiosity spans through different musical genres, I like to divide my creation between three projects.

I have been known as Movenchy for my work in the electronic world, particularly the Bass House circle that emerge around 2013 thanks to legends such as Tchami and AC Slater, and I’ve had the honor of releasing music on their respective music labels.

My early production journey in the 2000s was rooted in hip-hop, driven by MPCs and Akai samplers. To this day, I keep that spirit alive, crafting hip-hop beats, trap vibes, and pop tracks under the name Hallenback.

Finally, ever since my early days at the piano as a child, my love for crafting melodies has only grown. That passion led me to teach myself orchestral composition and notation. From film scores to full orchestral works, and with the help of modern sample libraries, I continue to pursue my drive to create classical music with emotion and depth, using my real name.

Communicating such a versatile background can be challenging as a music producer, but my focus remains clear: crafting emotive, impactful music for film, video, and media.

My work spans a broad range of genres, always tailored to capture the right tone, mood, and energy for each project.

Hope you will enjoy exploring my music portfolio.

Also an audio technician

Over the years, you are faced with a hard reality that creating great music isn't enough to deliver a fully polished, professional product to clients.

Beyond my personal projects, I’ve been mixing and mastering tracks for other musicians and companies. This experience led me to co-found Audio Boxing with my friend Benjamin Le Jean, a full-service mixing, mastering, and post-production studio.
