Welcome to this page dedicated to my musical universe.

Always driven by passion and a pursuit of creating my own little world, I blend tradition and modernity to create emotive music across genres—from electronic and hip-hop beats to orchestral compositions.

Mainly known as Movenchy for my House beats, I also craft Hip-hop and pop music as Hallenback, and write orchestral and classical music simply as Clément Ferré.

My musical worlds

Exploring multiple genres under one name can be confusing, so here is an introduction to my three distinct projects.

As Clément Ferré

As Hallenback

My musical journey started with the piano and listening to Chopin and Beethoven from a really young age.

Even though I am not classicaly trained, I thrive on studying classical composition on my own and exploring the art of writing on sheet music. Modern DAWs and orchestral sample libraries make it possible to compose and deliver powerful emotions, but I’ve been fortunate enough to write for and record with a live orchestra, and I can’t wait to experience that magic again.

While I wait for the next orchestral opportunity, I keep bringing musical ideas to life with the powerful tools of modern production.

As Movenchy

I can call myself a Bass House pioneer.

After years of exploring many electronic genres (Dubstep, Fidget House, Electro Clash, D&B, ...) 2013 marks a turn in the EDM world from Fidget House to Bass House.

Lot of artists started to switch from wobbly leads to heavy bass lines with House grooves. Hence the rise of labels such as Night Bass, Gold Digger, Confession, & more. Which I am lucky and proud to have been part of. While the EDM scene has shifted more toward hard techno, I remain drawn to the timeless rhythm and soul of house music.

My original thirst for groove and flipping samples.

Growing up in the ’90s, I was always intrigued by how the the beats were crafted, and the moment I had a chance to dive in, I was hooked. Beatmaking became my world. MPCs and Akai samplers were my school, and that rhythmic foundation still drives me today.

I continue to produce across hip-hop and pop, composing for singers, rappers, and more. What’s really exciting now is that, by growing as both a composer and producer, I can fully shape my own musical ideas, from the melody to the texture, then flip them into samples with a unique character. It’s a whole new level of creative freedom.
